Test 1 (video, 1974) A film made without camera: a series of cutouts made by hand in a piece of film create a rhythmic flashing of light on the screen, creating an after—image effect. The energy of the light is underscored by an audio track composed of dots scratched directly onto the film.
Józef Robakowski (born 1939) — author of films, photographic series, videos, installations and conceptual projects. Also known as performer and initiator of many artistic events.
