A monologue, composed of quotes from Polish romantic poetry (‘‘Kordian’’ by Słowacki), letters of Thomas Jefferson, and writings of madmen and tyrants (‘‘Mein Kampf’’ by Hitler or Internet—based manifesto of Breivik), the monologue set in a breathtaking scenery of Norwegian nature, forests, rocks, and lakes. The film is an allegory about the desire to conquer the world, a treatise on political utopia born out of madness.
