Dance of reflexes (single—channel video, 2012) To camera—performance. The author stands in the cold. The sub—zero temperature makes his body shiver, giving it an impulse to dance. The performance is accompanied by music.
Łukasz Prus—Niewiadomski (b. 1985, Oran, Algieria) — a Polish multidisciplinary artist. Graduate of the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre (PWSFTviT) in Łódź. He works with photography and video.
He participated in several international artistic projects, among others, the Polish—Norwegian “Shaping Time”, co—organized by the PWSFTviT in Łódź and Flaggfabrikken — Center for photography and contemporary art in Bergen, and “Hit the Ground” made in cooperation with the Swiss Relax Group. He has also taken part in the Contexts — Festival of Ephemeral Art in Sokołowsko.
He exhibited in Wrocław Contemporary Museum, Studio Gallery in Warsaw, Gallery EL in Elbląg, Entropia Gallery in Wrocław, Ośrodek Art Propaganda Centre in Łódź, Exchange Gallery in Łódź, Brotfabrik in Berlin, KinoLab at CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Camerimage Festival in Łódź, Two Riversides Festival in Kazimierz Dolny.
He curently lives and works in Poland.
