Karolina Kubik — visual performance artist, poet. She creates installactions, video—art, drawings. She leads workshops. In her art she concentrates on the changing subjectivity of the spectator and the artist, when the latter unnoticeably becomes a spectator of the spectator. A crucial element of her performance lies in time and Embarrassing Situations, which verify the attractiveness of norms and experiences. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, PhD student at the University of Fine Arts in Poznań. She participated in collective exhibitions and performance art festivals in Poland and abroad (among others, in Belfast, Berlin, London, Lvov, Istanbul, Zagreb). She lives in Warsaw, where she works at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Media Art & Scenography Department.
